Car Control - OBD2 is an Android app provided as-is — free to use, with advertising, and an optional one-time Pro purchase. Use it responsibly: never look at the live cluster while driving — only check sensors while parked.
1. Use of the app
The app is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may use it on as many devices as you own. You may not redistribute the APK, decompile it for the purpose of building a competing product, or use it to defeat vehicle safety / emissions systems.
2. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". We make no warranty that diagnostic readings reflect the true state of your vehicle, that fuel prices are exact, or that the app will be free from bugs. OBD-II readings come from your car's ECU and depend on the adapter quality.
3. Safety
Do not interact with the phone screen while driving — only check the live cluster and other screens while parked. Do not clear DTCs (error codes) without understanding the consequences — emissions readiness will reset.
4. Pro version and advertising
The app needs no account and works fully offline apart from public data downloads. The free version shows advertising served by Google. Car Control Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play that unlocks the ownership suite and removes advertising for the lifetime of the app; it is tied to your Google Play account and can be restored on any device from the paywall. The free tier stays usable without Pro.
